Working For Georgia State’s Rights

Ray McBerry, candidate for Governor of Georgia, is introducing 8 bills, which will strengthen Georgia in invoking it’s 10th Amendment rights. He is running States Rights as a main focus of his campaign. If you have not heard of him, you may get more information by going to his website: http://www.georgiafirst.org

One proposed legislation, would keep Georgia taxpayers from funding unconstitutional laws. If it does not fall under the Enumerated Powers granted to Congress, under Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution, the power belongs to the People, 9th Amendment, or the States, 10th Amendment.

On the point of nullification, the Tenth Amendment Center has many articles pertaining to the topic, and recent examples of states who are looking to utilize the measure for many issues, including gun laws, as in Tennessee and Montana, and other issues for other states.
